What’s included in the price of your puppy?

1) GST

5% GST is already included in the puppy price and won’t be requested in addition to.

2) Microchipping

All our puppies go home microchipped. This ensures they have a reliable form of permanent identification always connected to them in the unlikely event your that puppy becomes lost or stolen. A puppy with a microchip can be quickly and immediately identified and reunited with its family. Our Wild Rose name and contact information also always attached to each puppy’s microchip, so that if you cannot be reached, we will always be the next call and will ensure we take full responsibility for your dog until we can get your dog back to you safe and sound

3) Four Weeks of Included Puppy Training!

If you bring home a Wild Rose Puppy, we are passionate about supporting you every step of the way and want to make this process as seamless and stress free as possible. We also appreciate you and are so grateful that you have given us the opportunity and trust to raise your new puppy. To say thank you, and to support you well even after our puppies leave, our new puppy families will receive four weeks of in-depth puppy training through the My Loyal Hound Program. This is a 4 week online course, where Dre from My Loyal Hound guides you step by step, day by day, through how to raise a calm and well adjusted puppy. Never raised a puppy before? Feeling  overwhelmed with the thought of brining home a new puppy? Not sure where to start once you bring your new puppy home? We are constantly trying to improve our program and improve your experience in getting your new puppy from us! We LOVE our puppies but we also LOVE our Wild Rose families! We want to support you lifelong and help you achieve your training goals with your puppy. We have invested in this program for YOU. This program will take away the overwhelm while offering knowledge and guidance with your new puppy. Even those who have raised multiple puppies before will benefit greatly from this program. Now, no puppy family has to leave here with their new puppy feeling like they don’t know what to do next. This program will give you and your puppy the best start possible!

4) Health Warrantee

Although we have already taken our pups to the vet for a complete physical as well as their first vaccines, we want to give you the peace of mind that your puppy is indeed healthy. We also want to give your personal vet the chance to evaluate your new puppy. If you decide to bring your puppy to your vet within the first 72 hours of brining them home, and your vet finds your puppy to be unwell or to be in unacceptable health condition, Wild Rose Sheepadoodles will take the puppy back and will give you a full refund.

5) Health Guarantee
Every puppy goes home with a 1 year health guarantee against hereditary conditions and/or genetic health conditions that are designated as life-threatening or severe.

6) Spay/Neuter OR Vasectomy/Ovary Sparing Spay

Want to bring home a puppy and not have to worry about the cost of a surgery in the next few months? Don’t worry, this is on us! Have your puppy come home to you with their spay/neuter already taken care and paid for by us. When pups are spayed/neutered at 7 weeks, they heal in a matter of a few days. They experience no pain, come home that same day bouncing around so happy to play, they don’t need cones or pain meds or crate time. It’s amazing to watch them experience absolutely no pain when having this procedure done at 7 weeks, and to have new families have the peace of mind that they don’t need to get this done in the future as it’s already taken care of. We know there’s a lot of conflicting research out there on when to spay/neuter a puppy (trust me, I love written a single space 30 page research paper on the topic, I am very VERY well informed on the scientific research and studies that have been done thus far). We have been doing this this for years and years are just absolutely not seeing our dogs growing up to have any of those negative health effects Google tells you they’ll have. If you want to discuss the specific scientific studies I’m all in! We just love being able to do this for our puppies and their families!

OR- If you feel you are more comfortable with the idea of having your puppy keep their hormones as they grow, the what we do (for the females) is an ovary-sparing spay. Sparing the ovaries allows a female to keep her hormones, continue to go into a regular heat cycle, but not be able to get pregnant. These pups would still require a spay procedure later in life if you would like to avoid the heat cycles.

And for the males pups we will do a vasectomy. Again, males with a vasectomy keep their testosterone and once mature will still act like an intact male (allowing their hormones to sometimes drive their behaviour), however will be sterile and therefore not be able to produce puppies. These pups would still require a neuter procedure later in life if you would like to avoid the behaviours that come with a male dog that has its testosterone.

THIS is one of the many ways we act to be responsible breeders and become the SOLUTION to ending the overpopulation of dogs, backyard breeding, and dogs in shelters!

7) Puppies Raised Underfoot and In Our Home

All our puppies are raised in our home and are near us at all times!! We have a lot of people who ask to come “tour our facility” and we tell them it would be a pretty lame tour as we would be giving you a tour of our bedrooms, kitchen and livingroom 🤪

We love that we can supervise and interact with our moms their puppies all day long as we go about our daily lives.

8) Puppies Raised The BAB Way

We spend 8 weeks extensively caring for, cleaning up after, nurturing, raising, socializing, teaching, exposing and desensitizing all puppies raised here at Wild Rose. All our puppies receive extensive foundational education and socliaizing before they even leave our home! Puppies age 0-2 weeks our puppies receive daily Early Neurological Stimulation, and puppies ages 3-8 weeks receive daily curriculum that includes 10 daily handling exercises, novel daily sound exposure and novel daily item exposure. Our puppies also receive car exposure, grooming exposure (multiple baths, blowdryer exposure, nails clipped every 3 days, brushing exposure). But what sets us apart from others is that we don’t only say we are doing these things- we SHOW you we are doing them!! It’s easy to say you are doing curriculum with your puppies, but if you never see video/photo/facetime evidence that the curriculum is getting done, it’s likely because it isn’t. We absolutely, completely, wholeheartedly know how hard, stressful and busy raising puppies is, and therefore we see the temptation for breeders to say they are doing all of the right things, but then not actually do them. Raising puppies is undeniably and utterly exhausting, and it’s so easy and appealing to say you’re doing all the right things, but just being too tired. However we want to MAKE SURE our words are always matching our actions. We act first, talk second. We want to be held accountable for doing what we say, and therefore we invite you to preview much of what we are doing with our puppies via our Instagram stories. We try put a lot of our curriculum up on social media so you can see for yourselves that we are doing with our puppies what we say we are doing, and that we are putting 100% effort in when it comes to raising our puppies.

9) Temperament Testing and Evaluations

Each puppy will go home having been temperament tested and with a comprehensive temperament evaluation. Our temperament test evaluates the concrete traits in each puppy (traits that if raised right, will stay with the puppy lifelong). This helps you to know the strengths of your puppy, where your puppy will thrive in life, will help you better understand the areas that your puppy might need more time and dedication, and to give you peace of mind that your puppy’s temperament will be a good match for your family and that you family will have the temperament that you are looking for in your new best friend and loyal companion

10) First Vaccines

Puppies receive their first vaccine at 7 weeks of age by a licensed veterinarian. They require their second set at 11 weeks and their third and final at 15 weeks

11) Dewormed

Our puppies are dewormed at 2,4,6,8 weeks

12) Health Soundness Exam

Puppies received a health exam from a license veterinarian at 7 weeks, to ensure they are in good health before they venture off to their new families

13) Four Weeks Of Free Health Insurance

Wild Rose has partnered with Trupanion to ensure all our puppies are able to leave our home and join your family with their health fully protected for the first month they are home. You never know what a puppy can get into and we love having the peace of mind that if something comes up within the first 4 weeks your puppy is home, your puppy can be well cared for as Trupanion will financially assist your vet costs.

14) Go Home Supplies

Every puppy will go home with a harness, leash, and a collar. As well as enough food for a week, a ball to chase, a stuffie to tug and a pig ear to chew. As well as poop bags, all vet information and certificates, microchip information, trupanion information, and your training program info
